102 INTERMEDIATE KNITTING
Learn new techniques that will allow you to tackle more adventurous projects! Using swatches and several smaller projects such as dishcloths, hats, or mittens, you will learn: knitting terms, new increases and decreases, additional cast on and cast off techniques, how to use double pointed and circular needles, cable stitches, lace patterns, how to pick up stitches, finishing stitches such as mattress and Kitchener. You will learn how to read a yarn label, how to check your gauge, and, if we have time, Fair Isle and Intarsia color work! Prerequisite: Completed beginning knitting class or permission from instructor.
