The Fall Classes are now posted and registration is on. 

Pinka Peck of Pinka’s Productions will be presenting a number of bead crochet classes this fall.  Check out samples in the shop of the beautiful creations she will be teaching us to make. The pictures on the web page don’t do them justice.  These treasures would be fabulous gifts and little or no crochet experience is needed to make most of them.

 Lori has been working on some new patterns for classes. She has a very clever new sock class and a cute baby hat class as well as her other original designs and basic skills classes.

Su Walker has found some adorable, decorative baskets for us to weave. Some of them may be featured as a Friday Night Out project when we stay open late on the 2^nd Friday each month. Watch for information.

We have managed to acquire a share in the Dream in Color Yarns “Dream Club.” This is a special, very limited edition of their hand dyed sock yarns. We’ll get a shipment each month from August thru May and when they’re gone, they’re gone!

Yarns On Stage: Ten quality hand-dyers are each creating exclusive, limited-edition sock yarn to be unveiled on October 16th, at the Fiber Factory.  The dyers are developing special blends of color for this one-time special. Only 400 yarns stores in the country will have these yarns.

Fall yarns are scheduled to arrive in October and November. We’ll keep you updated when new yarns arrive by e-mail.

 Here’s a picture of the Arrow Basket class that occured on July 22nd! 

The basket was woven with a handle integrated into the base of the basket and had a beautiful arrow design woven in the sides.  Everyone finished their basket during the class time, as if it were planned that way.  Please ignore the date at the bottom right corner of the photo. Forgot to reset the date/time stamp on the camera.
