Here’s the Latest from the Fiber Factory
JULY MONSOON MADNESS!
When Sky Harbor Airport reports rain or it rains at Terri’s or Susan’s house, come in the next day and get 25% off of your yarn purchase.
Let’s hope for a wet July!
We will be closed Saturday, July 4th to celebrate Independence Day with our families and friends.
Friday Happy Hour with Bev Walker
Come in for some fun social knitting with Bev on most Friday afternoons. See the Special Events section on the Classes page for specific dates and times. No charge and there is always a Friday Special!
Do Things Look Different?
We certainly hope so. We’re making some big changes to make our site more interesting and interactive. We expect to have most of the changes completed by the Monday, June 8. If you can’t find something that you’re looking for, please contact us!
Look for updates on the News page!
New products, new books, new classes and addditional sales will be noted there.
We thought you might enjoy seeing a picture from the grand retirement party for Elly on Saturday, May 30. Elly is on the left, Barbara is in the center and Rae is on the right. As you can see, Rae is recovering nicely from her recent surgery.
Welcome Billy Jones and Charlene Shoemaker to our teaching staff. Both are long time customers of The Fiber Factory and approached us with ideas for classes. After a rigorous training period (which included teaching Susan and Terri to do something new), they proved to have poise under pressure. Look for their classes in knitting and crochet.
Since Bonita will be taking a hiatus later this summer, Charlotte will be picking up the beginning weaving classes for her.
We’ve got some great new yarns for summer knitting. Crofter DK from KFI, NaturLin by Berroco, Glaciar Del Cielo from AslanTrends and Sierra from Tahki Yarns come to mind. Come in and give them a feel.
Looking to learn a knitting technique that you haven’t tried before? Susan has said that she will do some small clinics by request. Call if you have a specific interest.
As always, feel free to come in and knit, crochet or spin on the couch and share your projects with us. We love Show and Tell!
